The incredibly talented Felix Cavaliere is visiting Cousin Brucie this Saturday night on “Cousin Brucie’s Saturday Night Rock N Roll Party.”
Felix is one of the founding members of “The Rascals” whose original name was “Young Rascals.” This band topped the charts with hit songs that kept coming. The group consisted of Felix, Eddie Brigati, Dino’ Danelli and Gene Cornish. He and fellow band member Eddie Brigati were lead vocalists and songwriters for the band. Marvin Gaye, Kenny Rankin, and David Cassidy were just some of the artists that sang songs written by Felix and Eddie.
The band went on to be very successful. Some of “The Rascals” greatest hits include “How Can I Be Sure,” “Good Lovin’,” “A Beautiful Morning,” “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long,” “Groovin’,” and “People Got to Be Free. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
