Sonny Curtis was lead guitarist with Buddy Holly’s group “The Three Tunes.” He later became a member of “The Crickets.” Sonny was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with “The Crickets.”
