Rock and Roll, Pop Standards – seasoned with a bit of Latin. That’s recording star Chris Montez.
He was born in Hawthorne, California (Beach Boys) and was influenced by the success of Ritchie Valens. Chris Studied music composition at El Camino College and the World danced to his mega hit “Let’s Dance” (number 4 on the charts). In 1966, Chris captured the airwaves again with “The More I See You” and “Call Me”.
He is an award-winning advocate for promoting healthy living. Chris was inducted into the California Music Hall of Fame on January 28, 2023.
