The cause of death for Fleetwood Mac’s keyboardist and co-vocalist Christine McVie has been revealed.
According to various reports, it has been ruled that McVie died following a fatal stroke. More specifically, it has been confirmed that McVie suffered an ischemic stroke, which is described as a blood vessel that supplies blood to the brain being obstructed in some way.
McVie’s cause of death was not immediately released to the public following her passing on November 30, 2022. In a statement from the band, Fleetwood Mac said she was the ” best musician anyone could have in their band and the best friend anyone could have in their life. We were so lucky to have a life with her.”
Christine was previously married to John McVie, the bassist for Fleetwood Mac until 1976. She rejoined the group in 2014 after announcing her departure from the group back in 1998, where she would remain a member until her passing.
