This year (May 2023) will officially be the fourth year that metal legends Metallica participate in the ‘Month of Giving’ with their charity foundation, ‘All Within My Hands’. Every year, the group chooses one organization to partner with and raise money over the course of the following weeks.
This year, the metal powerhouses chose to partner with ‘The Farmlink Project’, which is an organization that reportedly helps to connect farms with surplus of goods to food banks to help combat hunger around the world.
100% of the funds raised by Metallica and ‘All Within My Hands’ will go directly to ‘The Farmlink Project’!
The ‘Month of Giving’ originally started back in May 2020. Due to the global pandemic, Metallica highlighted a different charity once a week that took part in COVID-19 relief. In 2021, they partnered with other major organizations including ‘Feeding America’. In 2022, they collaborated with ‘World Central Kitchen’ supporting families in Ukraine and other surrounding countries affected by the war.
