Our visitor this week – LENNY WELCH has always been known for his smooth ballads. His major hit, “Since I Fell For You” continues to be a listener favorite. It hit number 4 on the charts in 1963 and sold over one million copies.
Lenny was born in New York City and grew up in Asbury Park, NJ.
He credits his high school years with giving him the training and experience that developed his professional career.
Lenny’s other popular songs include “Ebb Tide,” “You Don’t Know Me,” and his interpretation of Neil Sedaka’s “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do.” With a successful musical career, he then pursued Education, earning a degree from the College of New Rochelle.
