Your host, Joe Piscopo has dug up some classic requests from you that we didn’t have a chance to play – and revisiting others! (It seems you have impeccable taste when it comes to Frank Sinatra tunes!)
What we love about The Chairman is that each and every composition that he graces has so many variations.
This week, as we feature the great Artie Schroeck/Al Nittoli tune, ‘Here’s to the Band,’ we will grab the cut from London’s Royal Albert Hall.
(Mostly just to hear ‘Ol Blue Eyes say to the band, “Light ‘em up!”😁)
The original recording is like another tune altogether. Brilliant but completely different.
We have always loved that about Mr. S. – The single most exciting and unpredictable talent of all time, who always delivers.
