This Saturday night, it’s a “BOWZER WOWZER” of a show filled with legends paying tribute to the retiring, legendary icon JON “BOWZER” BAUMAN of SHA NA NA for his last Star-Studded “Rock ’N Doo-Wop Party” Arena show!!! All taking place THIS Sunday afternoon, January 19th, 2025
at 3:30 pm at MOHEGAN SUN ARENA in Uncasville, CT! It is his 23rd consecutive “Rock ’N Doo-Wop Party” at the MOHEGAN SUN ARENA!
We all know and love that charismatic, beloved character that Jon Bauman created we all know and love as “Bowzer”!
Well, it’s hard to believe that BOWZER has been with us since the 60’s! What a career his group SHA NA NA has had! Not only killed the audience at the historical Woodstock with their version of “Rock and Roll
Is Here To Stay”…and then again rocked the world in the major motion picture “Grease”, and being part in one of the largest selling albums of all time, its million selling cast album “Grease”! And let’s not forget his network musical variety show with SHA NA NA in the 70’s! With all of that, JON BAUMAN, “BOWZER”, defended artists that were misrepresented
with phony acts using the their falsely original groups, bands, and singers! He went to Congress on artists behalf, and fought for what he called for “Truth in Music”, and Congress awarded him with the win…so if it’s a singing group, there must be one original member.
Yes, JON BAUMAN…Producer, actor, comic, singer, host, radio host, TV star, writer, classical pianist, author, civil rights activist, and the lovable “Greaser” of all time….BOWZER is what the show is all about this star-studded Rock and Roll Doo-wop Saturday night!
